Guys, really sorry about this, but I've just spoken to Jim T and Ben, and have agreed with them to forfeit the game this Saturday. A couple of pullouts today, plus a couple of people who aren't going to make it due to existing injuries means we're currently without a keeper, a centre back, a left back and a midfielder, plus a striker if the rumours about Beano are true - haven't heard anything from him, but Ashton seems to think he's not around.
I could probably get someone to fill one of those positions, and an outside chance of filling another one, but I can't think of anyone else we've used in the past who's available, the deadline for signing new players is 10am tomorrow morning, and I'm out tonight so don't have time to try and get the few extra players I need.
It's been agreed amongst myself, Jim and Ben that the best course of action was to make a decision now, rather than later on. We've never had to forfeit a game in the past, and hopefully it'll be the last time. I'll send a text round to everyone confirming this after 5pm when I turn my phone on.
