Re: DIVISION TWO THREAD
cheers, yeah I know but having said that you end u losing a good player if you man mark him. toughy but we'll see.
Obviously I want to beat the Sanctuary fro Obvious reasons but it would keep the league interesting too for a little while longer if we win.
Ricky is a class player nobody has kept him quite or stopped him from scoring yet so quite a task, also rumour is Joe Lee is out for 6 weeks but can't see him not playing, I expect to see him line up.

Re: DIVISION TWO THREAD
Joe Lee..? Doesn't ring a bell. Yeah, Ricky is a very good player. He seems to be in the build up somewhere for their goals or scoring them. I think to keep him out the game, you will need to sacrifice a defender. He's not exactly slow, and runs around players like they aren't there so something tactical to slow him down a little would be an idea.
It would be good to see them lose their first game, but it also means bad news for us as it'll give you a whole load of confidence for the semi. We aren't favourites to get through, but if you guys are low on confidence it'll be a boost for us

Yeah but with the table as it is at the moment we are there by default as it isn't in our hands yet, a win V sanctuary will help us keep up but I think us like you are more likely looking to the Shield to get something out of the season. You could say the same about you. If you win Sat and beat us next week it doesn't matter what happens this saturday v the sanctuary you'll be confident.

Re: DIVISION TWO THREAD
True, I think we're more focused on the shield now..getting to the final would be an amazing achievement for Welton. We'll just be looking to get as many points as possible from the rest of the season, to get us mid table or there about. No doubt you'll be making sure you have the strongest squad possible for the semi, as will we which should make for an interesting game

Unfortunately my squad doesn't work like that I usually end up with a bare bones team after thinking I have a strong one about this time in the week. If I get the same team out from last saturday for the next 4 weeks then be worried but I need some divine works for that to happen I think. Last saturday was the strongest team I have had in 15 games this season. Sanctuary are where they are because they have a solid consistent team and the added bonus of Ricky.
Most teams (Widcombe Sanc, Hillfields, Rock, C3, SAS and welton, would walk this league with a consistently strong team however we all know that doesn't happen to many teams, Sanctuary are the exception this year and look where the are.

Re: DIVISION TWO THREAD
It's pretty rare we have our strongest squad out, though not many teams can say they have their strongest squad out week in, week out. Personally, I don't think they would be where they are now without Ricky. It may be to our fortune that you don't have your strongest squad for the Cup...but saying that, I'm almost certain nearly all your team will want to play in the Cup game so you'll have a storng side out.

About this, I have checked Fulltime but some teams haven't submitted scores or team line ups etc, I can continue but if any relevant players are missing data it will be lost as I won't go back later to do it. if everones happy i'll continue and get new scores up.
