Re: DIVISION TWO THREAD
SAS played some lovely football on Saturday but also have what a lot of DIv 2 teams lack and thats a good defence. The chap at the back (thinning hair) is an excellent defender.
My only criticism of them is for all their good football they didn't kill BS4 off with a killer touch in front of goal.

Re: DIVISION TWO THREAD
What SAS are doing is winning games still 1-0 is still 3 points and thats all they need at the moment. despite winning 4-0 we also failed to get a better scoreline and make it more comfortable oursleves sometimes you just get days like that.

I thought there was very little between the 2 sides and on another day we could have got a point or even all three. My lads were disappointed coming away empty handed and I can fully understand that.
We too lacked the killer touch in front of goal, but look at the for and against columns and that has been our problem all season. On the other hand our goals against column looks as good if not better than most in the table, I believe only two other teams have let in less.
Still Rome wasn't built in a day, but at least we are building from the back.

Re: DIVISION TWO THREAD
Not so sure about that Ian. You could have snatched a point late on when the keeper made a good double save but on balance of play and chances I would have said that SAS should have won by more than 1 goal. But who am I, just a humble impartial viewer.....

You are the Fabio Capello of the BCFA. You see more games in a weekend than most of us do all season...

Re: DIVISION TWO THREAD
All about getting round the grounds and seeing new strikers Ben. Actually, I was having preliminary talks with a couple of potential targets on Friday night as it happens. Felt I hadn't signed a striker in a couple of months so needed to feed my habit.
Also, that Joe chap from Hillfields is a nice chap isn't he.

I reckon he would play for you too!
Thought it was a bit over the top that you went and got his dinner for him though, wast bordering on being cringeworthy!
Also after the event Si was outside first making sure he got to shake some possible new players hands, no doubt slipping his woodieshotline number into their hand at the same time.
It was awesome to see the master at work, I tried tapping up Ken at BUCU but he just laughed at me like I was joking - I still have a lot to learn.

He had already been tapped, and tapped once again.
