Carragher - 'The win over United puts us near the top of the league and it proves to the supporters that we can challenge for the title.'

...some people do get carried away don't they!?

In a word, yes. We won't win the league, but hopefully we'll be closer than last year. I discovered yesterday that Fordy put a double bet on a while back for Spain to win the Euros and Liverpool to win the Prem!! emoticon

Re: The Premiership thread

As a Man U fan though Beano you should enjoy Liverpool winning. Normally by mid September their thoughts of winning the league have already gone, this way you'll enjoy it for a bit longer (maybe October this time?).

Andrew after your England squad selection, that comment makes me confident of a return on my money! emoticon

Least Terry is out for Chelsea on Sunday and Viva will be back emoticon

Id take a point on sunday, would mean three of our toughest away games are out of the way with 4 out of 9 points. Pompey away is a game we normally lose so is one of our toughest!

Yeh plus you get the Carragher quotes etc and probably a few more classics from Dan to add to it!

I actually think they will hang around for christmas this year, but go down with the lights.
