Re: The Premiership thread

The proof is in the pudding Dan. You didn't beat Fulham and West Ham so it was unrealistic. Good grief. Liverpool aren't yet good enough to predict 4 wins out of 5. Yes they did that earlier in the season but that just reinforces their inconsistency.

Noticeable that when teams set themselves up defensively, you can't break them down.

Dan, forget about what's realistic!.. try being an Arsenal fan, lose to Hull and Stoke, yet we beat Man U and Chelski! emoticon

Same here! We beat United and Chelsea but draw to Fulham, Stoke and West Ham!

Still top though emoticon

Predicting to beat Fulham, West Ham, Hull and Blackburn is not unrealistic and I'd predict that every season.

And that, I think, is the point Eakes is getting at.

If the question was who would finish heigher in the Premiership then it would be realistic to assume Liverpool would win over all of those clubs. But, historically, they have always dropped points in individual games against mid/lower-table sides and I see no reason why this year should be any different - especially with half the team missing for some games.

I've been merked by my main man Carra!

Carragher added that his side's next two league games, away to Blackburn and at home to Hull City, have not taken on any extra significance as a result of the points dropped against Fulham and West Ham.

"I've been here 10 years now and all anyone ever says is 'Oh the next few games you can win' - it's the biggest load of nonsense I've ever heard," he added.

"You just win the next game, people who look that far ahead are just stupid."

I wouldn't trust anything he had to say. Have you read bits of his biography?? He's an idiot.

This is funny. How the ref didn't give a free kick to him I don't know.

Stevie

And yes Nath, it probably should have gone in the "Funny videos" thread. I may well put it in there as well. emoticon
