Chelsea

Newcastle (h) - win
Arsenal (h) - Hard to call as Arsenal are very inconsistent this season but could be a draw.
Bolton (a) - win
West Ham (h) - win
Everton (a) - tricky game if Everton keep up their good form. Could be a draw but can't se Chelsea losing.

Points - 13

Liverpool

Fulham (h) - win
West Ham (h) - win
Blackburn (a) - Blackburn are poor at home and not great this season, win.
Hull (h) - win
Arsenal (a) - Again, could go anyway but I reckon a draw.

Points - 13

Man United

Villa (a) - Villa will be high after beating Arsenal, draw.
Man City (a) - United lost both derby games last season, could lose this one but I'm going for a draw.
Sunderland (h) - win
Spurs (a) - unsure as to how Spurs will be playing then but I think win for United.
Wigan (h) - postponed due to World Club Champonship.

Points - 8

Arsenal

Man City (a) - draw
Chelsea (a) - draw
Wigan (h) - win
Boro (a) - draw
Liverpool (h) - draw

Points - 7

So the league would look like this...

Chelsea played 18, points 45
Liverpool played 18, points 45
United played 16, points 32
Arsenal played 18, points 30

So if United win their 2 games in hand (home to Wigan and Fulham, likely 6 points), then they would be 7 points behind.

Arsenal would be 15 points behind and out of the race.

An interesting few weeks ahead before Christmas, I can't wait for each set of fixtures!

EDITED

I've been looking at the top 4's next 5 league maches leading up to Christmas to see who might drop points where...

Chelsea

Newcastle (h) - DRAW
Arsenal (h) - LOST
Bolton (a) - win
West Ham (h) - DRAW
Everton (a) - tricky game if Everton keep up their good form. Could be a draw but can't se Chelsea losing.

Points - 6 (dan predict 13)

Liverpool

Fulham (h) - draw
West Ham (h) - draw
Blackburn (a) - win
Hull (h) - draw
Arsenal (a) - Again, could go anyway but I reckon a draw.

Points - 7 (dan predict 13)

Man United

Villa (a) - draw.
Man City (a) - Win
Sunderland (h) - win
Spurs (a) - draw
Wigan (h) - postponed due to World Club Champonship.

Points - 9 (dan predict 8)

Arsenal

Man City (a) - lost
Chelsea (a) - win
Wigan (h) - lost
Boro (a) - draw
Liverpool (h) - draw

Points - 5 (dan predict 7)

So the league would look like this...

Chelsea played 18, points 38
Liverpool played 18, points 39
United played 16, points 33
Arsenal played 18, points 28

So if United win their 2 games in hand (home to Wigan and Fulham, likely 6 points), then they would be TOP

Arsenal would be 11 points behind and out of the race.

An interesting few weeks ahead before Christmas, I can't wait for each set of fixtures!

Dan, please don't predict any more Liverpool results. You're a jinx.

Re: The Premiership thread

I think you could be spot on.

Van Persie, Bendtner and Adebayor.

Potentially a very good player if he could be arsed.... which he seemingly cannot so I hope we sell him in the Jan transfer window.. or swap for Agbonlahor emoticon

Ince sacked

Another one bites the dust. Alladyce and Souness the front runners. Just when Blackburn fans thought it couldn't get any worse....

Only this morning I read that the chairman had announced his support for Ince.
