Only this morning I read that the chairman had announced his support for Ince.

The killer blow is always the chairman saying that. Just like Slip's minister giving Manager Redshaw his backing this week ahead of this weekend's game and Slip's last chance of silverware. Very risky move. emoticon

Re: The Premiership thread

Manager Redshaw told me earlier that he is being haunted by a set of teeth, he's seen the same set of teeth in his dreams every night for six weeks, he has woken up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat with visions of the esteemed gnashers staring back at him.

He almost got caught by a speed camera when he was driving home from work last night - he looked into his rear view mirror only to see a set of teeth that he described as "troubling him deeply". He also described the set of teeth as "getting in his grill" with lots of "jibber jabber".

The nation awaits Saturday's result with intrigue.

But the "man" they say is set to replace him has only managed at the lower levels. However, others argue that the fact that he has managed a bunch of prima donna students makes him an ideal replacement to manage a bunch of kids.

So Liverpool are top at the half way stage, yes we should be more than 1 point clear but Chelsea and Manchester United have unexpectedly dropped points too. Could be a toughy against Newcastle tomorrow, will Owen score? emoticon

Almost bound to, and for the sake of my fantasy teams, I hope he does (with Liverpool coming out on top, obviously).

Why not? He's not injured is he?

Interesting fact - only once in Premiership history has the team that's been top on Christmas Day not gone on to win the Prem that season. That was last year, with Arsenal top on Christmas Day. emoticon
