I am not a fan of Harry Redknapp's for various reasons but you have to love his constant excuses and cries for help.

So, he buys little Jermaine Defoe.
Tottenham will end up like Portsmouth (probably stealing half of their team) and have a team of giants who play for 1-0 wins. Now what the Tottenham fans really want, then something better will come along for him - he'll make up another poor excuse and leave them in a mess.
