I knew Mason was in it. He's the baddie (apologies if you haven't seen it emoticon). Don't think I knew Aaron Pierce was in it though.

Air Force 1 is a grwat film. Loads of 24 actors appear on other shows that I've watched. Mason is in CSI in the early series.

And Jin from Lost is in 3rd season of 24.

Also in the 3rd series of 24 is Sylar from Heroes. He plays a CTU techy-type person called Adam.

Back on topic, I'm gonna go and see Batman this week I hope. Really looking forward to it.

Has anyone seen Amazing Grace? I quite want to see it after hearing a bit about it at Hill House the last week. It's not on Front Row (Virgin film thing). Is it out on DVD yet?

Is that the Wilberforce film that was out a year or two back? If so, yes I've seen it and it was excellent.

Welcome back Nath by the way. The spelling mistakes and bad grammar have gone unnoticed this last week. emoticon

I've got amazing Grace on DVD, i could bring on the 16th and then you could return it either when we play the week after or at the first FA meeting. Rich

The Dark Knight is one of my all-time top 10 favourite films... thought it was brilliant. Great plot, great acting, particularly the Joker, great effects, everything was great. Only thing I was disappointed with was Katie Holmes not being in it.

That would be good, thanks. Could also return it on the first league game of the season. However, as I spend most evenings now at home with the wife and kid, I expect we'll watch it pretty quickly, so I should be able to return it to you on the 23rd.

I have seen loads of familiar faces in the X-Files (new movie out soon, very excited!). Terry O'Quinn (John Locke from Lost) and Alan Dale who has appeared in virtually every American Drama Series (Lost and 24 to name just 2).

Re: The Film thread

thought i would update tihs thread as its gone a little quiet on the film watching

I watched "you dont mess with the zohan" on sunday starring adam sandler! some of the scenes are a little bit gross to be honest and if you like your older women youll understand why!

but to be honest it is a very funny film and i was laughing a lot through it although some people did leave the cinema early which i have never done!! altho i could of when i watched the happening!! anybody else walked out of a cinema during a film? i mean leaving not just going to the toilet!!

However tonight i am (watching or should i say hopping) to the cinema to watch get smart which should be fun emoticon

Steve Carell stars in it along with Dwayne Johnson formaly known as the rock i.e. for all those wrestling fans out there should be good fun!!
