Re: The Film thread

I watched QoS last night. Not a particularly great Bond film, but worth seeing at the cinema. The 2 girls are hot. My favourite bond film is Goldeneye.

Spoke to someone else who's seen QoS. He reckons it's got loads of action but not much storyline.

The Bond films have gone downhill since Roger Moore retired. Goldeneye was okay though.

I watched Sweeney Todd on Friday night. Black humour and a musical, so don't watch if you don't like either. If you do though, it's not bad, and I found it quite funny too. Lots of blood spurting from necks too, so not one for the squeamish (Kirby).

I quite liked it, seeing Depp sing was strange but it worked and loved Baron-cohen in it was v funny. Bit of a silly ending for me but if that's what happened....

Also a good film, but Lenny you may have given away the plot and suspense by revealing what happens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: The Film thread

Anyone seen Ghost Town? Benjiman and I are considering either that or Quantum of Solace on Friday night.

Correct Eakesy. Ghost Town is pretty good, depends how much you like Gervais though, he's quite David Brent in it which I loved. Wouldn't say the film was that great but I just went to see Gervais in action emoticon

Re: The Film thread

I saw Ghost Town - I'd give it an average rating. Really enjoyed the first 45 mins or so but ultimately it turned a bit soppy and American like. AT first he is not very David Brent but turns into him pretty soon. Its just about worth a watch I reckon.
