I'm positive that on the second occasion at least, you played football the day before the half marathon, because I was amazed you were playing.

In fact, this link shows we played Hayhill on 16th September (you can see that you played and scored our goal) and this link shows that the race took place the day after, on 17th September. It was against Hayhill that you picked up your injury. After all, if you were fit enough to play 90 minutes on the Saturday, you would have been fit enough to run it the day after had you not played.

I rest my case your honour.

I've checked out 2005, and I can't prove anything there. The race was on 2nd October. We don't have a game on 1st October listed on Full Time, but it was probably a GFA Cup weekend. No idea who we played then and whether you took part or not.
