Hard to believe it, but just seen a quote from Mourinho that a) makes sense and b)isn't about him:

"They scored two goals over the course of the two games and we have to accept that, in football, the team that wins always deserves it..."

Disagree with alot of what the man says, but on this matter he's undoubtedly right. Wouldn't you agree Fears? emoticon

He's changed his tune. Pretty sure that's not what he said when we beat them 1-0 at Anfield in 2005. emoticon

Re: The Champions League thread

Draw at 11 am today. Instructions below:

1) Get the UEFA website up on your screen at 10:55
2) Make a tea/coffee
3) Get annoyed that the draw isn't really at 11am because there's 15 minutes of UEFA suits telling each other how great they are
3) At 11:20 sit and watch the flags move across the screen.
4) Laugh as journalists across the land salivate at another Chelsea/Liverpool dull 2-leg match and Clive Tyldesely dusts off his "that night in Barcelona" quotes when Man U draw Bayern.

My predictions...

United v Chelsea
Liverpool v Villareal
Arsenal v Barcelona
Porto v Bayern

I'm confident of beating anyone but would prefer either Villareal or Porto.

Home 1st leg, don't like that.

Should have 3 English teams in the semi finals IMO.

Barcelona/Bayern Munich v Liverpool/Chelsea

At least we are away 1st if we get to the semi. Wish we were in Arsenal's position of away first in both quater and semi. Don't think it will make a difference with them though.

My predictions...

Liverpool v Man U final
