Re: The Champions League thread

I would like to see a Barca v Man U final - having two English teams in it was dull and those two teams would be the best to watch in a final.

Nope, what happened then? It can't be a Liverpool v Barca final and I don't want two English teams in it so thats why I want a Man U v Barca final.

Re: The Champions League thread

I think Ben has been on the BBC text:

1124: Now then, it's almost platitudes o'clock. Eyes down for Champions League draw bingo:
"It's a tough draw, but there are no easy games at this stage."
"We are confident we can progress - after all, we've made it this far."
"Well, you've got to beat the best teams at some stage."
"We have met many times - we think ours is a special relationship."
"Of course we're happy to draw another English team - it's great for the game that we are all still in it."

How about Cardiff?

The tension would be unbearable if it were Liverpool v United in the final.

Almost unbelievably, Liverpool and Chelsea are about to meet for the 23rd time in the last five seasons having met in Europe in each of their last five Champions League campaigns.

I don't fear Chelsea, I'd just rather watch us play someone else.
