No major benefits, but a change to the suggested form would provide:
1) Continuous uptime - no hour offline every morning
2) Ability to search the forum for posts/topics/messages etc
3) More variety of "smilies"
However that said, for the older members of this board who find it difficult to locate the new season board each year, perhaps it's better to stick where we are...

Re: Splitting up the forum A search facility would be dead handy too. In fact, it might even negate the need to split the board up. Then, instead of having to search through 10 pages of topics to find an old thread, you could just type in "Lost thread" for example and find the Lost thread straight away.
