Re: Splitting up the forum

Does look more professional than the current board and thanks for looking into it Si, but I think I still prefer the format we're using at the moment.

I like having all the current threads visible on the front screen - just means that you can see where the 'action' is as soon as you arrive at the page. It's never too arduous to have to dig out a thread from a couple of pages back.

Also don't think there's much we can do about 'hijacking' except try and be a little more respectful to the more 'serious' threads. Certainly don't think its something that should be moderated.

Not one for change are you Dave. The comments i've heard from non mesgboard users are that it's full of drivel and its too hard to find anything. Mainly thats down to irrelevant threads. The point of multiple forums is so that those who arn't interested in non footy stuff dont have to view it.

If you are intent on reading every post from every topic you can click 'Active topics' in the top right where it will show you every new post since the last time you visited. This is how I navigate other forums where i want to see everything but not check out each post.

I like it, looks good.
Any like you said you can choose which area to go in without looking at threads which are 'pointless'.
