Re: F1 thread

Ferrai are threatening to quit next year, what do people think, personally I don't think a team should be able to hold another to ransom however, I think this season has been interesting and exciting so why do anything to change that, keep the new changes next year and maybe add the No refuelling rule to it, that is enough excitement.

Also if Bernie rule of winner takes all was in place, then I think Jenson would only need 4 more wins from 11 to have clinched the title - don't agree with that as he could have wrapped up by July.

Re: F1 thread

If that rule had been in this year then it would have Bern a farce but the other teams should have better diffusers next year so hopefully races will be closer.

Re: F1 thread

well, cars next year might be radically different if this budget cap and no design restrictions rule comes into place. Looks like it'll be £100m, then reduce 10m per year. I hope Aston Martin join - that'll be wicked.

Yeah Bond in F1 would be cool and with no design restriction he could use his missiles and oil slick to name a few. Now that would increase interest in F1

I thought the budget cap was an optional £40m with those that opted for it having fewer technical regs to meet?

There's been so much uproar, it looks like it might start at £100m then reduce by 10mil a year til it reaches 40 mil (or the teams mutiny and stop it reducing that far).

100 mill seems a reasonable cap.

buzzin to monaco
Button's gonna win on his home turf. Hamilton's got the skillz at monaco so should do well.
Ferrari's poor handling will cost them.
