The first corner on sunday will be very interesting - I've been looking at the new car designs, the front wing is now wider than the front tyres so I reckon plenty of wings will go flying in the first few corners!
Re: F1 thread Germany's Rosberg, son of Finland's 1982 champion Keke, lapped quickest in both of the afternoon sessions at a sunny Albert Park while Hamilton was 18th of the 20 drivers in the second.
Only Renault's Brazilian Nelson Piquet and 20-year-old Swiss rookie Sebastien Buemi in the Toro Rosso were slower.
The three teams using controversial rear diffusers - Brawn GP, Toyota and Williams - showed why their rivals were so concerned by filling six of the top seven places in a second session held late in the afternoon.
Re: F1 thread Practice 2 showed the advantage the teams with the special diffusers have. The top 8 positions, made up of the 6 drivers from the three teams in question, and the other two filled by RBR. Mr Newey working his magic again over there..?
