Updated table. Turps still just about it in which is surprising given Sehwag's performance. If he comes good, he could challenge Dan and Ben. My target is now to just beat John and Dave (and not lose to Nath).

Ok, if you haven't already discovered it, you will soon find out that we've all been given an extra 25 transfers for the IPL game!!  Apparently, it's because a "couple of people" complained about the pending transfers thing, which wasn't 100% clear about when pending transfers would start counting (something I got caught out with early on  ).
Anyway, I think it's a bit stupid that they've changed the rules halfway through the tournament, and this puts anyone with a crap or under-performing captain (like myself) at a bit more of an advantage as we can now afford to take them out straight away. It also gives anyone who's been saving up their transfers less of an advantage, as they'll suddenly have a ridiculous number to try and use up. Furthermore, they've completely over-reacted to this as surely no one used up 25 transfers doing this before they realised they weren't going through as quickly as they wanted!!
Therefore, I'm going to suggest that we all agree not to use the extra 25 transfers. There's only 8 of us in the comp, and I think we can all trust each other, so assuming you're happy with that, please post to say you're happy to not use the extra 25 transfers.
Dan/Ben, I realise this will almost certainly mean your position in the overall table will slip a bit, but we've entered to compete against each other, so hopefully you won't mind.

Personally its a massive mess up and it ruins the whole competition for me. I could now make 3 transfers a day with the number I have left and still have some left over. Its ridiculous. Competition over for me.
Its a shame as it takes a lot of the gloss off for the likes of Dan and Ben who have been doing so well. Oh well, my 1 year reign as champion stays as just that, unbeaten.
Nice knowing you IPL Fantasy league.

despite a bad few days I am still way inside the top 100. Therefore I would like to maintain that position. I may have been more open to your idea if I had been way down in 500th place or lower.
