Indeed, since taking on me as a special adviser Turps' climb has been dramatic. emoticon

Pos. Team Name Manager Total Points
1. SAPL Dream Team Adam Turpin 1684
2. Already beaten Kirbjoke Daniel Flynn 1651
3. Dyslexic Untied Ben Smith 1556
4. Tip-n-Run Dave Ford 1463
5. Gonna do the double Simon Eakins 1364
6. Must Beat Flynnjoke John Kirby 1363
7. The Kolkata Wannabes Nathan Redshaw 1335
8. Might knock you out...the ground! Alan Shears 825

However, Turps' captain is unlikely to make the semis so he will have to use the 9 subs to get his captain out of his team.

Not at all. I don't think it's worth changing at this stage. If he uses the 9 subs on other players, he could probably realistically score around 90 points from those subs. For a new captain to score 90 points, he'll have to have 2 pretty good games when you consider a 50 is only 20 points (40 when doubled), and that's assuming he gets the chance of a second game. Turps will be better off just holding Duminy.

Can't believe I'm inside the top 600 out of 3500, and I'm still second bottom (effectively bottom as Shearsy clearly hasn't changed his team from day 1). emoticon

Nath, I'm not necessarily saying he should do that but its an option. Looking at what I have written it does sound like I am saying thats what he should do. However, if he has something like 18 subs left and with only 8 games left of the competition, it might be worthwhile considering it.

Turpin's captain won't make the semi, there's no unlikely about it. I reckon it's gonna be a close finish. Turps has said to me that he won't change his captain, mine probably has 3 games left.

I'm backing Turps' better cricket knowledge plus the fact that he's been off sick so is watching all the games and knows who's in form etc !!

True, and possibly 4. He'll need to pick his form up a bit though!!

And Raina does pick up his form! A half decent bowling performance from him and Dan could well be re-taking the lead. emoticon
