Re: Fantasy IPL 2009

Good day for me so far apart from Gambhir. Hayden (57), Dishan (50) and Raina (41) have done well for me. My subs finally working.

3 players, including my captain, play this afternoon. Come on Yusuf!! emoticon

De Villiers (105no), Hayden (57) and Dilshan (50) have done me proud. Vettori took 2 wickets. I also have 3 or 4 players in the next match.

That is where I slip up. Not being in the know I picked Flintoff. However I have plenty of subs left so I am not going to worry about it too much.

My good day continued, Yusuf getting 41 as captain but unfortunately no wickets. Khan got me 3 wickets and a run out. Asnodkar didn't play though emoticon

Re: Fantasy IPL 2009

A great day for me means that I am now 11th overall out of almost 3000 teams. It just proves that this is just a game of luck or maybe you just need to consult the betting odds. emoticon

1.Dyslexic Untied Ben Smith 356
2.SAPL Dream Team Adam Turpin 241
3.Not even joking, must beat Kirbjoke Daniel Flynn 229
4.Tip-n-Run Dave Ford 164
5.Might knock you out...the ground! Alan Shears 161
6.Must Beat Flynnjoke John Kirby 148
7.Gonna do the double Simon Eakins 137
8.Will Finish Above Dan Nathan Redshaw 90

They keep changing the tables so this maybe wrong by the morning.

Re: Fantasy IPL 2009

Smith, the guy in 10th (whose team is publicly viewable) has obviously made quite a few transfers but his current team looks poor.

Good day for Dan - Redshaw is under pressure!

I expected more from McCullum but Kamran Khan lived up to his hype yesterday with a very tidy spell.

Shame I missed the "super over" yesterday. Big risk having a spinner bowl it and Pathan took them home.

My men are still not firing but I'll be patient with them.

I'm hoping Sehwag will get me out of trouble.

I'm expecting Ryder to be dropped from the Bangalore side today although it was a peach of a delivery that got him out first ball last time out.

Re: Fantasy IPL 2009

I think my choice of team name is coming back to bite me in the ass. emoticon Can't do anything right in this game. Two players getting into the 40s is as good as it's been for me so far, and I've already had more ducks than I had in the whole of the last tournament.

In short, I'm screwed.
