My Mum taught Paul Potts. (He is the opera-style singer isn't he?). Either way, he was apparently a strange lad.

Re: Britain's Got Talent 2009
So Flawless weren't flawless last night. They were still the best act though and deservedly won. I'm a bit disappointed that Merlin didn't get through. Didn't see his act, but on the little summary thing it looked pretty good.
So far, it's two singers, and two dance acts.

Re: Britain's Got Talent 2009
Who was the other chap that went through last night then? The nerview singer with the goatie??
Thought Diversity were superb on Sunday and Susan Boyle is now starting to annoy me big time. I don't think she will win it now, she will annoy a lot of people. Think she is starting to believe the hype!

Re: Britain's Got Talent 2009
yeah i agree with who has gone through however i do agree with piers morgan when they voted that the whole idea is it is a variety show not just full of singers!
for those who watched it last night i thought the pavaroti sketch was funny!!!
and the merlin act was good as well

Yeah mainstream style singers should be on x-factor not this show, the pav singer was very clever and very good bit annoyed they went for the singer who shouldn't win. it's competing for a variety show HELLO!!
Diversity were excellent and I hope will win, Flawless OK but not Diverse enough!
Hey Boyle Nooooooooooooooo!

Re: Britain's Got Talent 2009
The Ventriliquist was good, and flawless were the best two acts.
Merlin a close third.

Flawless were pretty special last night, only 1 slip at the end but other than that it was quality. Merlin was good although not sure he would have died had he fell like they were making out. If he'd done it above a pit of metal spies then fair enough. Ventriloquist was good but don't believe that he hit that last note when singing. Don't believe you could do that. Thought DJ Talent was pretty good!
Makes me wonder why they put through acts when al they do is slate them. But I suppose it makes for 'good' tv.
Didn't see Diversity on Sunday but will check it out on YouTube.
I really hope Susan Boyle doesn't win. She is overrated IMO and didn't sound great on Sunday.

Re: Britain's Got Talent 2009
I seem to be in a minority when it comes to the ventriloquist guy. He was ok, but he wasn't that funny, and he looked like someone had their arm stuck up his ass. Plus, you could see his Adam's apple moving all the time. He's no Keith Harris, and I'm sure there are better ventriloquists in the country.

Come off it!! The best thing about his act was Ant and Dec's intro. Can't believe he went through the judges names going "I say Simon, you say Cowell..." etc. Second worst act, narrowly beaten by the flab dancer.
