I seem to be in a minority when it comes to the ventriloquist guy. He was ok, but he wasn't that funny, and he looked like someone had their arm stuck up his ass. Plus, you could see his Adam's apple moving all the time. He's no Keith Harris, and I'm sure there are better ventriloquists in the country.

possibly but he was more worthy than another singer!

I was pretty shocked that the Shaun guy went through. I didn't think he was that good.
Should have been Merlin and Flawless.

Come off it!! The best thing about his act was Ant and Dec's intro. Can't believe he went through the judges names going "I say Simon, you say Cowell..." etc. Second worst act, narrowly beaten by the flab dancer.

It'll be no.1 in no time.

Maybe, but that doesn't mean anything other than that 14 year olds are pretty dumb, which we all knew already (insert own Welton joke here).

Anyway, Diversity, Flawless and Aidean (?) might be pretty good, but my eyes were opened as to how good dancing can get by Matt Maltby's efforts on Saturday night. emoticon

He's a funny guy (although not sure he realises that!), and I thought his rapping was good.

You just don't like singers getting through.

At the end of the day, the boy could flippin well sing.

Yeah! but his style of voice is one for x-factor not this show I don't mind other singers as long as they are unique or not suited to X-factor like opera and 10 year olds singing.

Is it true that the older man singing yesterday has actually been on the westend shown and that his emotional fear is more a front to get the votes or is that not true? I know amanda wasn't impressed with him in that respect!
