I was pretty shocked that the Shaun guy went through. I didn't think he was that good.
Should have been Merlin and Flawless.

You just don't like singers getting through.

At the end of the day, the boy could flippin well sing.

He had a fairly good voice however there are a lot of people with an equal standard of voice in the show. There are probably no other escapologists in the running and he was very entertaining.

Not a great show last night, save for 3 acts. I predicted the top 3 emoticon , but got them in the wrong order. The kiddy who sang was awesome I thought, much better than Shaun. Dance group was pretty good, and Stavros Flatley were funnier than I thought they'd be second time round. No complaints with them being in the final, although they won't come anywhere near to winning it.

Me too Nath. I predicted the kiddie would win the vote and the girl dance group and Stavros would be 2nd and 3rd and the judges would pick Stavros.

Each semi final has been structured so that enough dross is in there to allow the top 2-3 acts to have the option of going through each time.

Good to see a bit of public backlash against Susan Boyle as well, I think she is starting to believe the hype. I hope she doesn't win.

The correct 2 acts got through last night. Shaheen was incredible, easily the best singer so far. He performed 10 times better than Susan did.

Nath, you say Stavros don't have a chance but they won the public vote last night. Surely the favourites have to be the ones that win the public vote? For example, Stavros are more liked by the public than Shaheen and Susan is more liked than Diversity.

And Amanda's leg emoticon

Am enjoying Simon Cowell on BGT. On X Factor he can sometimes annoy me although I realise he is generally spot on but in BGT he doesn't take it too seriously and is quite funny. He is still on the money though.

That is true. I wonder if people will change their votes though? For example, I wonder if a lot of people thought last night that Shaheen would go through no probs, and wanted Stavros to go through so voted for them instead, even though they thought Shaheen was better? No idea if that would actually happen, just pondering aloud.

I would have put the Scousers through last night. Didn't like Shaheen Jarafilogololu much, mostly because of the song.
Hasn't he been on TV loads already, he shouldn't really be allowed on he has a career already.

Normally I would expect this sort of comment from someone who is starved of female contact but Dan, come on, you're married!!
