2008/2009 - MVP's

How come the trophy went to Ken Oni?
If you look at the stats then Ricky Bush had the same number (11) as Ken. Ken had 9 in the league and 2 in the cup(s), Ricky had 10 in the league and 1 in the cup(s).

Anyone able to explain the reasoning or highlight where I've gone wrong with my research?

Ken was sat at the Woodies table so deservedly got it. emoticon

In truth, I don't know. I assume that there wasn't a separate MVP for Div 2?

Re: 2008/2009 - MVP's

I think it's beacuse ricky did it in 21 games and Ken in 17 therefore his ratio was much better. However it was mentioned on the night both had 11, just think Ken got it for achieving it in less games plus he's a much nicer guy than Ricky emoticon Both short of Joe Allens 13 last year though will that get matched again? emoticon

Re: 2008/2009 - MVP's

One thing that could have swung it was Ricky could have played an extra 6 games as a result of the additional league games in Div 2. Ken got 11 MVP's from 17 games so a strike rate of 65% whereas Ricky got his 11 from 21 games, or 52%.

I have no idea whether thats a reason but maybe an answer?

Plus it looked like Ricky used too much hair jell. Ken is far more natural. emoticon

It takes of years of Training to make the hair do what you want it to.
