Re: So what is everyone doing for the SD box building contest? Nope, dont have it anymore, it would never work right for me, probably going to try it again later.
Re: So what is everyone doing for the SD box building contest? I used to be able to design vented boxes a few years back using just my head........not anymore.
****ing winISD is being a pain still, if I can get the ****in' thing to install all the way I'd have more luck.

Re: So what is everyone doing for the SD box building contest? Ok, I finally figured it out this morning. The stupid thing finally installed all the files after about 5 times of un-installing and re-installing.
Now it just won't work for me lol.

Re: So what is everyone doing for the SD box building contest? Im still trying to figure out what I want to do as far as looks... dont really know what yet.
Re: So what is everyone doing for the SD box building contest? Yup.Here are the plans so far (and don't be getting any ideas about copying):
8x8" 3/4" thick pexi window on the side of the box.
What I'm going to do is screw the plexi glass on the side, then I'm going to use another piece of 3/4" MDF and make it look like the pexi was flush mounted.I'll use bondo to make it look like one piece so you can't see the crease.
Then the box will be painted white, then with a clear coat finish so it's nice and glossy. Then the ports will be painted (in and out) a neon green with a clear coat finish. Then inside will be a charcol color with a clear coat as well. The wiring (for the sub) will be street wires blue 10 gauge power wire and I'll be using 5 way binding posts from crutchfield.
