i think im gonna go wit 2 Rockford Punch 10" Single-Voice-Coil 4-Ohms Subwoofer with Polypropylene Cone and a power acoustik 980 watt amp

will that be a big enough amp 2 power them 2? and is that amp any good??

Trust me, bestbuy will charge you out the ass for mediocre products at best. And I know it can be scary buying online but ill check out afew places I KNOW will not screw you.
Look around on ikesound . Great deals and have personal experience with.

Yeah, id use a credit card if you have it.

As for choices, between those two id go for the P2s(the 2nd ones).

For choosing an amp, look for one that does about 400 watts at 4 ohms. Make sure it is RMS ratings, not peak. Ill look around on there for you and show you a good choice. emoticon

With the P212S8s you'll want a decent 2 channel amp for them and wire them in parallel and bridge the amp.

I recommend the pioneers over the RFs as I have never seen a pioneer (mid-higher line) just crap out for no reason.IMHO RF uses weak glue.

I also recommend ike sound, we ordered everything for my brother in-laws system from them except the subs.

First let me say I do not recommend the pioneer subs from best buy, those aren't any good.
