Opening your own audio shop?
Well after goin to all of my audio shops around town (about 4), I realized they were pretty ****ty places. Rediculously high prices ... for nothing. I was wondering...How hard would it be to open your own shop? I guess you don't have to have an actual building, CAN work out your house...
I know I don't know nearly enough for my own shop, but the shops around here know just as much as the people coming in to ask them questions...I dont know, jsut a thought...

Re: Opening your own audio shop?
I have been doing a lot of number crunching and deciding on this topic for about a year now...my dad owns 2 businesses in contruction, veyr successful ones(i say this b/c theyve been open for 27 years and that=success) and he wants out of the wait for payment deal with douche contractors and such, wants to open a car audio and speed shop with me...im in school for business so i have half the know how for this and learning more as time comes...it is a pretty tedious thing to decide what you want, how much, remmebering that you need to be over their base limit. We have been travelling and looking around home for some good locations and this is whatll make the shop, location is key. Then worry what ou want to have in house and decide on certain items that youll order special basis( most companies will do this and sell one or two of their products at the dealer cost which most only do a type of bulk)...I think itll work out but man is it a pita to figure out what brands i really want.
