What do you do when......
You have an "extra" vehicle, 2 extra 15" woofers, an extra amp, extra time, and some extra money?But what do you do when it's an extended cab pick-up, and you want to keep all seats?You have a topper.
You do a "not quite a wall"  (my name for the project....not my pic.If it matters I used to talk to the person....smart guy)
Project "not quite a wall" will begin as soon as I get back from my trips to Denver, Colorado and Reno, Nevada.So in a few weeks.Following the "not quite a wall" will be a stiffer suspension, (no later than a couple weeks after install is finished)a security system, and a decent front stage.Then the "beautifying" stage will be after that when I get time.Still deciding what I want to do in that area.Sound deadening will be squeezed in there somewhere.I was just thinking charcoal carpet, less hassle, and more of a factory look.
I'm still deciding on all the small things.But the plans for equiptment are as follows for now.I'm leaving "room to grow" so to speak, so it can become MUCH louder in the future.But I can tell you it'll probably be in the low/mid 140's with the PR's.Fairly efficent subs + some nice boxes + small cabin to pressurize = loud
Security - Viper 350 HV with 520T and two 513T's (batt. back-up and two piezo sirens) and two door lock actuators (for keyless entry)
Subs - 2 15" Memphis Power References in seperate PSHO's.BA400 for the amp.Will be upgraded to an avionixx 1200.2 when the woofers are upgraded.EVENTUALLY I want to go with a couple orion 2500D's and two 15" MT's.But that won't happen for at least 8 months.That'd require lots of wiring, new batts., alt., etc.
Costmetics: I will make a piece that blends the "not quite a wall* with the interior better.The back of the "not quite a wall" will eventually be plexiglass.So the rear view will not become useless.....well until you turn the system on  The cops around here do not like you at all unless you're a redneck.So it'll also be usefull in the sense they can't say ****.

I will too lol.Once I get the basics running and operating, it'll be time for security, then beauty.
I was going to do a 6th order PSHO wall, but after reviewing what would need to be done, I'd need to mod. the boxes, it just wouldn't work.Given my wide tastes in music.That's the MAIN thing that's really holding me back.I may still try it for fun if I have time, but I doubt it.
In the mean time, to hold you over I'll have PSSQL build pics.Then pics of my trip, build will start shortly after.
And the alarm install in the jeep, then the toyota.Once I get the toyota finished up, I'll begin on the jeep.I can tell ya right now the "holdover" system won't be holding me over too long.I have my eyes on some focals  
Going to be fun though, should be around 6db louder than the mounty was.Give or......give.

I'm debating if I want to try and make my own 6" flared port or not, or just stick with slot.
