NEED HELP WITH R.E. BOX !!!!

I JUS recently bought a re mt 15 they say its the most bad ass sub alive and i cant get specs i keep geting differnt answers when i call re i got 3.5 , 4.5 and 6 cubic in ported box and i was wondering what you all had to say about how i should build my box i was told that the MT needs a small box i compete in usac and what use to be slap if you could please please help me i need how big i should build it and i no i have to use 4 in port holes and im using 1 inchh mdf and its going in a 96 jeep cherokee thanx pleaes email me at seventhgest@aol.com

The mt doesnt perform at its peak in small boxes, id try around 4 to 4.5 cubes tuned to mid 30s. If you have the room you could bump it all the way up to 7-8 cubes and tune it to the mid to upper 30s. How much power are you running on it?

yea but i was told that ineed to tune it at 45 to 50 hurtz its in a jeep cherokee i have 8.12 cubes avaliable but 30s its really freakin low and ull hit hard but im doing spl here 30s wont put up my big numbers like i want do u think ill be able to hit 50s or above with a US AMP ax2000 wired at 2 ohm instead of 4 so ill be puting out 4000 wattts instead of 2000 ? its a 2 channel and yes i made sure its safe to run it at that 2 ohm load because thats a damn expensive amp at least it is to me

Okay, from what I can find tuning into the upper 40s(47-49) has worked well for jeep owners 93-98. You might be able to get to the 50s but its going to take alot of testing.

BTW, what do you have as far as electrical system?

electrical system stock alternator i have 0 auge gauge wire 1 stinger 1000 up front and 2 blue deep cycle batteries in back 2 150 amp fuses an isolator a AX 2000 US AMP !!! and a US XT 800.4 ( 4 channel ) which i need also recomendations on up grading my alterntor what do u prefer i was looking at hoalternators outa iowa what do u think about that ?

I cant speak on hoalternators, however i've heard great reviews about www.motorcityreman.com. Their prices dont look bad either.
