Q4
Almost finished playing sp.
Its kinda fun.

Hey, what's going on Corpus? Have u been sticking with Q2 these days? What other games u playin online if any?
I kindof dabbled in Q4 for quite a few hours and it didn't catch on for me. It seems too close to Quake3, just jacked up graphics. A lot of jump pads and accelarator pads. When I pull up the server browser in Q4, hardly anything shows up nowadays! Methinks the few players left playing "online" are the competitive ones.
I did like Q4 single play better than Doom3. Still, Half-Life 2 is much better than both. The thing I can't understand is why they can't include some form of vehicle play in the online version of Q4?? Halo did it nicely and it's an older generation game at this point.
These days, I bounce around between Counterstrike:Source (still), and dabble in Call of Duty online as well.

q2 is the only thing I play online 
Lets see...recently played; Farcry, Halo, Hitman2, Q4 and found an old copy of Descent which was a *****ing game.
Quake 4 is the best sp Ive played so far.
Farcry was fun too.

Hey Corpus..
Never played q4 online but the s/p game was ok.. It was no Half-Life 2 but it was fun... Just finished fear s/p.. Not a bad game.. But like fooo said Half-life 2 is the best s/p game to date. If you have the puter to run it, well worth the money..
I still play q2 online but I don't see many players I know anymore..
CSS is about the only game I play anymore.. A little frustrating at first but once you figure it out its a great game..
I still refresh q2 now and then, if I see ya on I'll jump in and play a game...

Always a pleasure to see a 4u2.
Hugo and Dave come and go quite a bit. Moe has playing a lot too.
Im gonna try hl2 next. Ive never played counterstrike...or even seen it...but I guess since so many old q2'ers play it must have some appeal.
We should all get together and frag some Friday nite...take pictures and all.

I thought Q4 was ok. Doom 3 sucked, unitl I put a mod on where I had a flashlight on my weapons. Fear was great however, I was disappointed in the ending. How about you lurch. I am now playing Call to Duty, Lots of fun. On line I love Counter Strike however I am on dial up and can no longer play. Nice to hear from you corp.

I agree hammer, fear was better than q4 and doom but like most fs/shooters the ending sucked... HL2 was great from start to finish.
I never played cod but cod2 was great, played thru it 3 times. 
you can still play q2 with dial up.. squirrel kicked our asses for years on it. 
I find moe almost every sat morning at tastyspleen dm.. jump in for a game or two, q2 is still alot of fun...

Hammer, I'm glad u got a working version of Call of Duty. Even being a few yrs old and the 1st installment of 3 versions, I think the original one holds up well.... it sets the WWII tone pretty well.... lots of background shooting/firing goin on!
I really got a kick of the mission where you're on the back of a truck and you had to fire rocket launchers at the Nazis chasing you in their vehicles.... kindof had a feel of an Indiana Jones Movie.... the soundtrack fit perfectly in too!
COD-Multiplayer... eh, it's ok, not great. Very similiar to Counterstrike as online play can get dominated by snipers (what else is new?). I think Gator says u can still play COD-online on dialup.
