How goes it Bigwig?

Besides a core a few who are still playin Q2 on Tastyspleen-DM server (Corpus, Superdave, Hugo, Moe, Biglurch), rest of us are scattered playin other games or not playin at all.

What games if any are you into Bigwig?

I'm alright. I just came back a couple hours ago from a work related plane trip to Toronto.

Besides that everything is going good. I'm not playing any games at all. Last time I played q2 was maybe 6 months ago. Easily...

Last time I played was at tastysleen which seemed to be the only active place for q2.

Anyway, that's about it. I wish it was colder here so I could play hockey outside. This winter has been weird. Makes me worry about the global warming issue. It was still very hot even in mid January which is very inhabitual here.

Heh, I think we've been hit with your weather down here in Missouri. Typically this area will get cold and have snow, but it rarely lasts for very long. Well, I still have an icy driveway from a storm that came through in early January, and we've had 2 more snowfalls since then. It's frickin' 10F outside right now, and next week doesn't look to exceed freezing much at all. My gas bill is going to suck again. Oh, how I miss the mid-40s! emoticon

I have seen many of the gang play at the TS DM server but have not seen you there at all.

So you still play q2 a bit?

It was actually a lot of fun the other night playing. A lot of friendly old timers were playing: Go0n, RunRun, Hugo, Sid Dithers. Lots of BTF players there also on a constant basis. I even see Cannonball from time to time. Of course Punk FAS and Elysium still play there and hands us our collective asses, but it makes it more fun when you can actually get a kill in on them!hehe

Bigwig, when you going to put on your Q2 shoes again and play?

DeanRW, I've pretty much hung up the Q2 shoes for a while now... I guess I really needed the change in scenery. I'll occasionally pop into the TS DM server. Q2 servers are a rarity these days that at least it's easy to find the old players still at it.

DO you still play w/the handle "DeanRW" or what handle should we look out for?

I don't know when (or if) I'll play again. Currently I'm not into playing at all. I don't play any games at all. I don't know I guess I just became tired of playing altogether.

Maybe I'll join in the future when I see familiar faces in a server.

Last times I played I was able to stay close to Elysium and Punk but now they would destroy me I think. Maybe I'll be running like Foopooh now and won't be able to do any jumps in the mega room in q2dm1. emoticon
