So does anyone play Q2 anymore? If so what servers and when? Like to hook up and play some if I can find anyone. Let me know ...Shade

Hey nice to cya Shade! Tastyspleen has become the dominant Q2 server provider these days. Their most popular servers are DM and Vanilla.... and you'll prolly find Moe, Hugo, Corpus, Superdave, BigLurch are all still active players (oh and I forgot, I've seen Sid Dithers around the 1-2 times I player per month):
Tastyspleen DM: 67.19.248.74:27916
Tastyspleen Vanilla: 67.19.248.74:27912
Vanilla server runs on ye olde single player maps. DM is as what you'd expect dm1-8 and some other maps methinks.

Now what is really cool with this link, is if you scroll down, you'll see they list the players currently active in each of their servers.... cool way to see who might be playing at the moment without having to visit a few servers.
So what have you been up to Shade? Didn't one of your kids used to play online with us or am I thinking of someone else?

I still play Q2 at t/s dm and Vanilla but I mostly play CSS.. Look me up on one of the webkiller servers.. I play every night around 9 pm central time..

Guess I'm going have to start up another Carmen thread since CB is back. Man having a donut shop bites. Sleep by 7pm to wake up at 12 am to start up the donuts. If anyone is round after 12 noon then I'll be doing some fragging. To calm the nerves hehe.

A donut shop that is awesome. Did you purchase a franchise or go it alone???? How did you get involved in that???? Where is it located???? How is it doing??? How long have you owned it???? I watch the Food Channel and the bakers amaze me. I love to cook but baking takes way to much patience. I looked up a Dunkin Donut Franchise and it takes 1.5 million liquid to open one. I can not imagine your hours that would really suck. You must be totally dedicated.

It's a family run shop. A franchise does take a bit of capital to start up as you found out. But this is a smaller shop so it's not as hard. I've been up here in Fort Worth helping my mom run it for a year and a half. My sister was helping her while she waited to get into the Air Force. She got her officer commission and I took over managing it. I got convinced by my mom and uncles that have shops in the area to buy it so I did.
The hours are the kicker but they ain't to bad. The income isn't bad either. It's been slow here since most my business is from the local Lockheed plant. Which is going through some changes for up coming contracts. Once the contracts start up it should go nicely. I just started off this month as the owner. But it's been a bit of fun and it helped my afford my new Ram truck....hehe.
