Hey are you guys playing on dialup or broadband. What is the address of the tasty sites. I may give it a go. The last time I tried q2 with dial up I could not connect.

Good Fooooo and yourself? I am still on dialup. I completely hate it. My new home is going well. Making lots of improvements. How are your kids? Are you still playing internet games? Due to my connection I have resorted to playing Chess. I played it a lot in college. Can not believe how much I have forgotten, it is however slowly comming back. Thanks for the tasty games. I have tried a couple. But, alast my connection is to slow and immediately get kicked off.

hammer, try using r1q2 or r1gl. It has a modified netcode that especially helps high pingers.

where are you located geographically?
If you had a stable connection, i'd be more then happy to connect to you. i dont care how high the ping is, if it is stable. i play Disco Ditto in singapore (or used to, i barely play q2 anymore  ) at 350 ping happily.
try tastyspleen.net and tx.tastyspleen.net they are two different servers, so you may ping better on one then the other.

Thanks gator I installed the program and it did smooth it out. Finally tonight I got in and played with a 300 ping. It was great, I remembered the old days. I saw a gernade pack, picked it up and began launching. Within two seconds I had 4 kills, felt great. Thanks for the info.
