Nah, I wasn't in high school. I was in my second to last year of college. If it weren't for the high-speed internet goodness of the university, I wouldn't have likely started playing online multiplayer. Yes, I'm married now, but there aren't any kids. Still living in the Kansas City area, too.

I bought 4GB RAM, but I think Windows only sees 3GB... dunno if it's a major problem.
Hey on another note... for the ones who are playing Q2 more often these days, which server do you recommend we all meet on? It can't be a crazy populated DM server cause then there'll be toooooo much spamming (or do we want that?). Anyway, let's hear some suggestions so some of us can visit them.

Foo, windows will only see 3.5gb of RAM as long as you're running 32bit windows. If you upgrade to the 64bit versions of Vista or Win7, you will be able to use beyond the 3.5gb barrier. It's not a windows problem as much as it's a 32bit problem. Of course, it's not even really a problem, since your PC will work fine, it just won't use all your RAM.
BTW, Win7 is pretty nice. I tried the beta out with much amusement. I should be getting the free upgrade for my notebook soon!

Squirrel, if you want to toss some pineapples around for old times sake, tasty spleen has a boat load of servers. Check out their websites for the IPs:

Most end up playing in their DM and Vanilla servers (Vanilla for ye olde Single Player mappages), only the port numbers differ:
dm: 74.54.186.226:27916
vanilla: 74.54.186.226:27912
vanilla2: 74.54.186.226:27920
Interestingly, they have a warehouse only server... to satisfy those who want ye old dm8 only server (what was the name???):
74.54.186.226:27922
Of course, I'd like to hear suggestions from those who are still playing

ON another note Squirrel, have u had a chance to hit any of the Tasty Spleen Q2 servers? I've run into Hugo & Biglurch this past weekend. I have some screenies of being ontop of the scoreboard a couple of times... too lazy to post, heh.
