Sq, that IBM monitor is considered vintage nowadays!!! OMG... I remember those monitors going with 386 PCs way back when I first started working with a computer rental company over 10 yrs ago!!!!!! IBM built those monitors to last!!! emoticon emoticon

Dang! My pictures are already outdated. My laptop in the picture above kept making a bad clicking noise. Sounded like the HD going bad. I called tech support and he agreed. He said I could stick it out and see if it does die, or I could send it in for service. While that's the best one could hope, I was a little alarmed that there was something faulty after 15 days of use, so I headed back to circuit city for an exchange. They didn't have the same laptop in stock, so I ended up going with something else, an HP 15.4" widescreen job. It was a little more expensive than the old, but not too bad for what it offers. It's K8-based, and is build on the NF3 chipset. Right now I'm getting it up and running, so I haven't tested q2 on it. I'd imagine it will be pretty fast. Just a shame the other one didn't work out. emoticon

I'll toss up a photo or 2 tomorrow.

It's a nice 15.4" widescreen job. Specs:
Athlon XP-M 3000+ (based on the Athlon 64)
512mb DDR333
GeForce Go420 32mb
802.11g
60GB HD
CDRW/DVD drive

Seems cool so far, but I'm still setting it up. Quake2 looks awesome in widescreen, btw. emoticon

I also use an AOL CD for a cupholder, but I have it flipped over as to not cause cornfuzion. The shiny side looks cooler anyway. emoticon

Scooby Doo rules! I'm a comic book collector (own about 14,000), so most of the figures are comic related. Witchblade, Aliens vs Predator, Spider-man, some Q2 figures, Star Wars, Pamela Anderson (VIP figure), Ash for Evil Dead, Reboot, Duke Nukem, one of the Hanson brothers from Slapshot, are som eof them.
