Lag Caused by my Router

So I was having some chitty lag issues for months... I even got a "Supervisor" from Cablevision to come check things out with no results. I knew I should've done the obvious but didn't (me lazy)... I disconnected my Linksys Router and hooked up 1 PC direct to my cable-modem.... the lag problems went away! CSS is not so much of a struggle now emoticon.

I ended up spending a little more and went with a Netgear Wireless Router... the one that doesn't have antennas sticking out of it. No, my pcs here are still wired in (Router has 4 ports)... I went with a WL-Router cause I'll try to swindle a WL-laptop from my work so I can sit in my living room and surf... but really, I need to get work done at home some time emoticon. I'll be glad to provide a model# for those interested.

So after a few yrs, the Linksys Router had it... and it's not like it's "not working".... the lag issues are one of those things... equipment works, but just very flaky.
