Re: Wow. Nostalgia. I thought you left oBs a while ago, big. From reading that, it sounds like you quit yesterday.
Sorry about your news. It's sucks to see it happen to anyone, much less family. I got to see my mom beat cancer 8 years ago, and I hope your family has the same success.
Re: Wow. Nostalgia. well I quit oBs and played for a couple weeks with no tag then join an ACTIVE clan. That's pretty much it. Anyway too bad if they feel betrayed or something. I just want to be a part of a fun and active group..I left oBs because it felt more like a 1 man clan then anything. I was tired to be alone.
Re: Wow. Nostalgia. It is my belief we gave it about a month after Bigwig told oBs he was leaving until we publicly announced recruiting him. That month may seem long, yet it may seem very short for some. Nevertheless, BW was prolly spending over 90% of his Q2 time associating with one 4u2 or another on a daily basis ... and was communicating heavily with us on our msg board even back then. So when things slowed down with oBs... it was a logical move. Now what if oBs was a more "active" clan?? I think we might've re-thought BW's membership... dunno. It would've depended on the majority vote. On the other hand, BW would not have left oBs if they were active... he would just still be the same nuisance... just wearing another tag .
I think we still try to uphold "not" taking active members of other clans and giving some "grace" period even after they leave. We don't intend to find ourself in any position of causing friction with other clans, especially friendly ones.
