Nah, not gonna be a jump map. I always felt that deviated from the game a bit. Although, I will add enough areas for evasion type jumps, they're not going to be the main focus.
From my little sketch from work, those platforms are actually room skeletons, and the rock/lava pit is basically just background visual. I'm pretty happy with the way it's turning out, but not sure if I left enough space for fragging.
This is why I haven't exported a map with lighting yet, heh... Plus, hell, I haven't done this in a while, there's bound to be speed bumps.

thx Rail... I'm too inconsistent as u know. I'll get like 30 deaths and killed the MOST during my Fragfests and I have 12 pingage... I dunno what it is, but CDC runs smooth for me more times than not. I think my best scores come when I happen to be at the right place at the right time for a few times and I run off with 3-4 frags at a time... makes up for more than a dozen frags difference in an entire game.
I like that ZTN map... all I do is try to whore the red armour... but what's his name stayed in that area for most of that match... he had that down to a tee as much as we tried to dislodge his ass. I got killed too much in that map.

death's don't matter in ffa... efficiency is good if you have +50 in ffa ... it's about FPH...
diff story in gx, you don't wan tot die as it's about control...
dont worry about getting killed, as longa s your killing at a higher rate...

I'm totally different. FPH means nothing to me in ffa. It's all about the eff. I'd rather lose with 20 frags and 7-8 deaths than win a map with 30 frags and 25 deaths. it feels like trading frags for deaths. I like to make each life last as long as possible. Yea, gx is about control but as long as you have 1 more frag than your opponent that's all that matters.

zynthetic, what are the names of your maps? I've got around 500 so i'm sure i've played them. Just don't know which are yours. Btw, I've got 2 maps in the d/l section on the webpage. Sq correctly placed them at the very bottom.
