Gaming since I was 12 (1992), started with Wolf 3D, moved onto Doom and Doom 2, somehow skipped over Quake, and got into Quake 2 in 1997. Currently play Q2, Q4, and CS online.
Best known alias I had would be [2c.10] in Q2.
I live in Ottawa, ON, Canada, and I goto Florida every 6 months to chill with my BTF clanmates and LAN it up.

Hi, i'm steve aka lone gunman. i'm 43 and have been playing q2 since 98. took 2 years off because of computer issues, but now im back in the game. never played many pc games besides q2 and mech warrior.

Gamer Q2 since internet (phone) and now through cable. Started vidio playing with Atari Ping--Pong(yawn) and through the other boxes with Pacman and the other (yawn) games.
Am the father of Rob (Gator) and friends of the BTF clan. Joined shortly after clan was formed and prior had been A2W MzDizastar and before that---way back MissDisastar (Foo). I play Q2 WOD mode BTF BigBasser and COD (Callof Duty) as BTFBigBasser and at times Cpt Outragious (TDM)
Have retired twice and will be soon again, then will Grandpa the G-Kids. I live on a Lake and hobbie is fishing--hence name BigBasser. See ya at the games!!

I live in Charlottesville, VA as of Ocotober 2005.
Startin quakin back in college...was good times...stayed up way too late back then BUT enjoyed a ping of 0 thx to college ethernet..ran around with my ssg kissin everybody in the head...=)
got off it for a while
probably like 4-5 yrs later i started again remberin how much fun it was..been playin now for like 1.5 yrs solid..
i love the acrobatic movement of the game..and all the ppl who are better than me...jeez
one day..oh yes..u all will see.
glad gator found me...i totally agree bout playin just for fun...to me a lot of sports are ruined by over aggressive play..but it is a real yin-yang thing really...its just some ppl get so egotistical bout it.
i have enjoyed all my other btf memebers.
i need to irc more really just love playin more..
it is funny/great to me that so many ppl still play q2 ...i run a 600mhz with voodoo5 and it wont run any of the higher end games so q2 is what i HAVE to play...but no complaints..
though soon im going to inherit my roomate's higher end card...so everybody watch out..60 fps is going to feel sooo good.
besides quake
well i used to play soccer..loved it
im a big movie snob...modern movies suck...DUH...they been remaking **** for like 5 yrs straight..
well just talk to me if u want to know more.
i usually play at tastyspleen, ds_edge,warehouse, btf server, etc.

I know your into 1 v 1 & TDM.
Maybe you can get BTF into the team scene again. I think their are a few members who might be interested, but they need someone to take the lead.

Been in and around Q2 since 98 when msn zone
put up the rooms over there.Ran servers for years, Awaken Mod and Wod ,Comp mostly under
M0n0LiTh0 tag..
Collecting maps is a bit of a hobby of mine as is alla the different Mods i can find.
Glad be part of this clan and to meet all of you..

Defiant!, or Def for short.
I've played FPS games since their inception (even visited Id Software on a business trip). I'm mainly a FFA/DM player but am playing TDM more recently including on NADML 4v4 and TS 2v2 and 1v1 tournies. I've hosted/attended more than a dozen LAN parties. I'm a "Sport" level player. I'm in the South West.
Most important, we all put forward a friendly attitude and greatly appreciate people who have the right attitude as you all do.

DEMOn, because I am an FPS demofreak.
Started out as Gib_an_let_die in the old Primenet QW days. Ahh... 30 minute timelimits and almost a frag a minute... those were the days! :P
Sparing with Defiant! has kept me active in q2... and made me a better player.
Hope we can scrimmage sometimes... 4x4 on WOD... or maybe even CTF could be cool.
