Re: bios!
I'm johnny{WoD} aka Cygnus{HHR}
I'm a SheDevil/bike/music/alcohol/pc freak.
Gaming is cool, enjoy it mostly cause I have fun with my friends. Mostly Quake2 WoD is what I play, although I have almost every game there is. Rails is "OK" but I like all the WoD weapons. I'm an old fart but I can drink anyone under the table, and although I'm a relatively new player, I can hold my own pretty decent (concidering how wasted I am when I play... LMAO) Anyways, I work for the Deptartment of Defense, and am trying to finish my college degree in polymer science/molecular engineering. I just bought a new 2300cc Triumph Rocket, it's awesome riding wheelies on an 800lb. bike... it's SWEEET! I'll post some pics if the admins want to start a pic thread here. Anyways, I'm drunk and want to kill somebody with my flaregun.

Re: bios!
IROQ, that brings back some memories.
I was part of IROQ for a while.
I used to play as Sgt. ****, I think I used IROQ Sgt. or Sarge.
I can't remember the couple's names who ran the clan, but I do remember them as being very nice people. They lived in the Tampa area I believe.
I don't really remember shedevil, but I was only around for a short time. I still see a IROQ player occasionally, I guess they are still a active clan.
I'm not a WOD player, I play FFA DM most of the time. So even If I don't see you in game, Welcome.

Re: bios!
I would also like to add... Z4nd4r is 1 of the best WoD opponents I've played, always a pleasure fragging with him. He's certainly an asset to the BTF clan.

Re: bios!
[IROQ]Cygnus, I remember that name
Nice to see you both here. I don't play as much as I used to, but when I do its mostly FFA on mutant. If mutant is empty I might be at vanilla, railz or sometimes tdm.
I wonder if Terry & Robin are still gaming ?
I would love to chat with them again, they always really nice.
I took a couple of years off. A few months after I came back I joined BTF. Its a great group based on enjoying the game.
Take care.

Name: Az
Age: 28
Alias: [BTF]Disco Ditto
Location: Singapore
Website: http://discoditto.clanbtf.com
Hobbies: Stamp Collecting, just kidding.
Occupation:Part time Job hopper, Musician, Flamboyant 2 step Disco dancing drunk.
Favorite Server: Mutant and DM
Favorite weapon: Grenade Launcher, Rocket Launcher but actually, everything.
Favorite Map: q2dm2. q2dm3, q2dm5, q2dm7, shadows etc
Time playing: Since 1998
I started rolling my first FPS during Apogee's Rise Of The Triads, seconded by Duke Nukem, Doom and Quake. When Quake came I was totally overwhelmed by the heavy mood and eerieness of the game. Thrown in with an uber kooh NIN soundtrack, I never imagined that a game would be that kooh.Spent some time playing Multiplayer on dialups and BBS. When Quake2 came I was overblown too, but not as much as I expected it to be. It was basically more eye candy-ish to me. Though I was running in software mode and the only card I used was a free Voodoo1 till 2000 while others were using Dual V2s and what not. Was roped in to join a clan called [S.T.A.R] Special Tactical Assault Regiment with the handles GrNaDieR[STAR], Ba[STAR]d, and Dr.Gibz[STAR]. Went into the army in 1998 and by the time I was free in 2000 the scene was mostly dead. And I disconnected myself from the internet for a few years till July 2005. Got back Quake2 and was playing in Sisters of sum'n Server, got bored and played quite less. Till I found Tastyspleen Vanilla. Was sucky as hell cos I hated the maps. Then I frequented DM and Mutant more and met the [BTF] heads, mainly Knitty, Gator, Killer D, Mangymutt and Adam. Helluva friendly bunch and not to mention fun but deadly. Went into the IRC server and was 'pestered' by Gator to join. I hesitated at first cos I knew the implications and seriousness of being in a clan, but Gator told me that BTF wasn't a skill based clan and the focus was on fun. I took note and took some time to get to know the members and get a feel of the whole clan and one day I decided BTF was it.
From that moment on I never regretted and looked back. And the rest is history. Mainly cos I hate to type a whole life story here.

Re: bios!
this is a fun thread, so i thought i'd contribute....
Name: Jace
Age: 20
Alias: jace! since my return to q2, formerly known as: ahi, cr0w, alienous, sting
Location: Middle TN, USA
Hobbies: guitar, running, weight training, and obviously---gaming
Occupation: Certified Pharmacy Technician
Favorite Server: any of the tdm servers, and the dm server.
Favorite weapon(s): Railgun and chaingun
Favorite Map(s): q2dm1, q2dm8, ztn2dm3
Former Clans: Dirtclan {DC}, "Chaos" =XAOS=, USA [USA], Team X tX.
Time playing: Sporadically since 1999
I started out in Quake II by recommendation of an online friend---who actually mailed me a copy of Q2. Come to think of it, my first online multiplayer game was WCW Nitro for PC... rofl.
Anyway, I began playing the game on my ELITE Pentium 166MHz w/ 16mb, a video that didn't support OpenGL, and a blazing 28.8kbps dialup connection. I was also keyboard only for my first, eh, year almost 2 years... yeah, i totally rocked. I played practically all FFA for the first couple of years until I upgraded to a P3 system and I branched out some into lithium and CTF.
I took some time off from the game for a while until the local ISP started offering broadband connections... at this point, quake pretty much started ruling my life. It's actually quite amazing I did so well in high school considering I'd be up until 3-4 in the morning playing duels and team games. (By this time I had been sucked into tourney/gxmod)
I dabbled a bit in Unreal Tournament and Return To Castle Wolfenstein, but never straying away from Quake II. Played a lot at Netdoor and Enter.net servers---again, mostly tourney/gxmod but then the occasional FFA at Mage Warehouse.
I reluctantly made the transition to RA3 during the time q2 was being pronounced "dead". A lot of players were, at the time I thought disappearing, and server lists continued to drop, so I "officially" quit Q2. (or so I thought, right...)
Played mostly RA3 off and on through 2004 and gaming pretty much came to a screeching halt for me in 2005 after I graduated and moved out on my own.
I went without internet for a long time, but finally winded up getting it back about this time last year. Bought this new PC out of boredom back at the first of the year, and thought I'd try Quake 4.... after playing it once or twice and becoming utterly disgusted with it, I was quite pleased to see that Q2 was on the bonus disc... and so here I am today.
