BTF Gator: Sconfig Server Settings and Some Possible Matches
Hello Gator,
I just wanted to say you all did have two fans out there who played on your server. We also have one more hard core sconfig person who played by the name of Berserk.

Below are the configuration settings we use, and ones we have used on a public Sconfig from the past, one called Fragginwar. You might remember it. I was admin on that one some years back. Anyhow in the current time frame we have two more boxes. Please visit, and see how the setup feels. Yours can easily be just like it.

It would be really cool if you continued to run yours, and also if you would used the settings as shown below. They make for a very smooth, fast paced game, one where players like use of the hook. By the way I'm in Plano TX, and get a 9 ping on your machine. Its as if you are down the street from me. Pretty kewl really. People were asking me if I was admin on the box. I told them I too was in Texas.
The file config.txt is where the majority of system control is specified . This file should be located in the mod's folder sconfig30. We are running this mod on linux, but windows is the same with regards to this file. Simply modify yours to have these same sections.
Lets have a match. We would love to play you all.

hi there, i have been away, sorry for the slow response. i'll need a few days before i have time to look at this, but i'll try to make the server as you would wish to use it, or give you your own server with these settings, either or.
Kick me in the ass if you feel i have forgotten about it. Sorry, been real busy with work, etc.

thanks for your reply. We are actually Sconfig natives from back in the day and are still playing as of late.
I left out one very important section to add to this post: Goes in config.txt, its yet another section. Last but not least.

We are hook players and would love to play on your server as most all of us ping excellent to it.
We do have up two Sconfig servers at present, one on a fiber, and the other on a business cable connect. Its been allot of fun over the years, but we lack the community these days to have any kind of real traffic on them. Most players prefer no hook as well in the current time frame.
Maybe some members of BTF can join us for some Q2. We like it fast paced, and some would say Xtreme. But its all in good fun though.
