Paintball2
I have been having a blast with Paintball. It is free, so i think it is a great way to get people into Quake2. They can get a feel for the engine and get them hooked so they go buy Q2.  Another nice aspect, is there is no death, dying, or gore, so it is safe for kids.
I love the physics, it seems a touch faster then q2. I also love the sounds and sights. Visually, it is middle of the road between Quake2 and Call of Duty. And its free. Seems like it could be a jumper's dream. I am so new in the game, im not sure if it has a big jump aspect to it or not. The maps show some forthought towards jumping. But just feeling the physics makes me almost want to jump in it, and i hate jumping!
Looks like there is another [BTF] clan/team in europe. They have been on the server already asking me to change my tag and the server name. NOT.
Gametypes in game are DeathMatch, Capture the Flag, Siege, Elimination.

The game is at least as active as quake2 is anymore. The server never seems to be empty.
Did i mention it is free?

Yes, I met Jitspoe down at Qcon, and got to know DP pretty well down there. It's a great achievement, and a great game.
