Saturday Night Slugouts
Had a blast last night. The heaviest action was with Strychnine and BigBasser. i'm really enjoying the current set up. Spawing with rail, and the ability to carry 110 health. Makes for better fights, as one shot battles aren't fun to me. There are still quite a few one shot kills, so maybe there is the need for a little more health, but i don't want to get to crazy with that.
Plenty of people came on later, but the rhythm was messed up by the map downloads. i counted my maps this morning. 967. That is really too many to be easily manageable. i cant even find a way to print the list out on paper, if you know a way, gimme a yell. i really need to find a way to post files on the net for download, i have huge zipped paks of maps, envs, textures, and sounds. This is the only way we can play other maps without waiting for everyone to download them. i will say again, there is a good place to dl big map paks, etc., at: http://mywebpages.comcast.net/wdoerr/playpen.htm . The server for this is not up 24/7, so keep hitting it until you can get in, you wont regret the time involved. Extract each type of file into the appropriate directory of baseq2, tourney, and whatever other mod you play. I play WOD alot, and that is where these came from.
