And bobmoans ... you're confusing the verb with the noun again! I meant "a Mate" not "to mate". But then again, at the "Hooker's Ball" ...
And to both of you ... I take it you dislike Fagashlil ... 'tis a great pity, because he likes you!!!!

Lil is a sheila you nonce,and 'mates' in england(stemming from times long before Australia was discovered) as in shipmate etc is used regularly in the motherland.

You forget, Bobbie my lad, that at the time the transportees were shipped to Australia, they were still Englishmen. As such, any perversions and woollen receptacles carried to the new country were for the use of your English kinfolk.
After a period of time, once they realised the error of their ways, they settled down and became Australians. Of course, as in any society, there were some throwbacks that retained their English characteristics, such as the love of English sheep! We call them 'Mops', or 'backward Poms'! After a few generations, most of the bad traits have been bred out.

Aha thats where the misunderstanding is.
All the Aussies i've spoken to told me they became Australian Citizens only after they had performed sodomy on a sheep,thus being now as bent as a nine bob note they could no longer call themselves English
