i see that canada now has its first 97 point jersey. Vandenburg Amedeo Georgous, owned by Rapid Bay Jerseys. Well done to all invovled.

Amadeo is a Grove out of a Juno. I am just getting into Jerseys and don't know a lot about that pedigree but I am looking at flushing my five year old that was fourth at Madison. Amadeo is dead and I was told his semen is selling at $800 a unit.

Amedeo is at the very top of the EBV type list for Canadian Jerseys. Negative milk, but very strong type. His semen has sold over $1000/dose.

She looked the part too, if you look up the definition of dairy strength there should be a picture of her. She has the depth and width of heart while being opened ribbed, high chined, and silky hided. Her only fault, if you can call it a fault is that she isn't that tall. I would say 50-51 inches.

Circus also made EX-97 recently this year in the US. Recent EX-97 Jerseys in Canada include Gorgeous, Nadine, and 5x Royal Champ. Gold Prize.

You knew once that Veronica went 97 that Circus would go 97 too. They are the two titans of the US show scene for the last couple years. Too bad they never went head to head at Louisville. It would be interesting to see what a judge would do with two completely different cows.

I think Circus would win that match-up, thats why Circus has won Louisville in years that Veronica has won Expo, Veronica skipped Louisville because her owners figured the kind of judges the AJCA tries to pick for Louisville will prefer Circus. Lets not forget that that Griffen has beaten both cows the last time she faced each.
