The Muslim religion

This is good to discuss in a cult-related forum. A friend emailed the following to me:

This is a must read -- it's short but Very informative! The Muslim religion is the fastest growing religion per capita in the United States, especially in the minority races!

Allah or Jesus?
by Rick Mathes

Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for maintaining my state prison security clearance. During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths, who explained each of their beliefs.

I was particularly interested in what the Islamic Imam had to say. The Imam gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam complete with a video. After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers.

When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Imam and asked: "Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world. And, that by killing an infidel, which is a
command to all Muslims, they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?"

There was no disagreement with my statements and without hesitation, he replied, "Non-believers!"

I responded, "So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can go to Heaven. Is that correct?"

The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of a little boy who had just gotten caught with his hand in the cookie jar. He sheepishly replied, "Yes."

I then stated, "Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope John Paul commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr. Stanley ordering Protestants to do the same in order to go to Heaven!"

The Imam was speechless. I continued, "I also have a problem with being your friend when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me. Let me ask you a question. Would you rather have your Allah who tells you to kill me in order to go to Heaven or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to Heaven and He
wants you to be with me?"

You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his head in shame. Needless to say, the organizers and/or promoters of the "Diversification" training seminar were not happy with Rick's way of dealing with the Islamic Imam and exposing the truth about the Muslim's beliefs. I think everyone in the US should be required to read this, but with the liberal justice system, liberal media, and the ACLU, there is no way this will be widely publicized. Please pass this on to all your e-mail contacts. This is a true story and the author, Rick Mathes, is a well-known leader in prison ministry.

I believe that there is much paganism involved in Catholicism and that there are many facets about Catholicism that make it rightfully classified as a false religion. It's just too bad that more people aren't speaking truthfully about both Catholicism and Islam (and even the apostacy in some of the Protestant churches. Everyone needs to believe in Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior and maintain close fellowship with Him, repenting of all sin (no matter how great or how small). That is the only way to have true love, true joy, true peace, true patience, true gentleness, true goodness, true faithfulness, true meekness, and true self-control. (And, yes, I am preaching to myself here, too.)

The "Muslim Threat" Has many Threats;
Due to the British Goverment, they are Pouring into the UK
to Live. In Order Not to Upset them, British Laws & Customs are being Changed. I feel unless somthing is done NOW, The UK will become a Muslim State !
Internet Censorship laws have come into Force, Trying
to Silence Protesters Like Me [Its Not Working, Is It ]
Freedom of Speech is becoming a Distant Memoury,
How soon Before "Freedom of Worship" Is Outlawed ?
The Future Is Bleak,
It's good we have Hope through the Lord.
And YES I AM Racist !!!

Very true, and I have noticed a large amount of terror attacks in your country. Many of the Muslim community are peaceful and just caught up in the cult. However international travel is much easier for "citizens" of our respective countries. I am sure the leaders in the extreme fringe have noticed as well. Sorry, I was begining a rant.

Now this is one I have to study up on. Very, very sticky this issue. I have read and found that the true Muslim religion is a peaceful one. They only go off board when they read the teachings; I believe, correct me if I'm wrong: that were "inspired" by Muhammad.
Now what I have learned of Mohammad, he wasn't a very nice guy. He raped and pillaged. Took young girls as multiple wives and had scores of children. Kinda sounds like David Koresh.
So if you know more let me know.

Re: The Muslim religion

A Few other points I think its Importaint to point out:
Muslims are taught that they should KILL [Murder] ALL
Non Muslims [Compair this with Christian LOVE].
Also Muslims Must not convert to Christianity, or Islam
"Will put them to Death",
During my "Travels" I've spent time in a Muslim Country.
The Police & Military watch every Move, Laws are harsh,
These people Still "Stone Women to death" [There are
Videos on the Internet of this Wicked Act],
Public Floggins are a Daily event, as well as Public Hangings & Beheadings [Again Plenty of Videos of this On Line].
How do we Reach the Millions of Muslims who have been Taught that this "Lifestyle" Is Right ?
Yep Im Racist, But I Dont HATE Them, Just wish they would Stay in there OWN Countries, and If they come to MY Country, They Should Change to British Laws & Customs,
NOT the other way Around.................. "Rant Over"

Paul

Re: The Muslim religion

Let me add something to this thread.
I have never been a Muslim, but I studied Muslim theology by myself using Muslim literature intended for Muslims.

Murder is one of the most serious sins in Islam. It is interesting that Koran teaches the better attitude to Christians and Jews than to pagans.
It is said a lot about wars with non-Muslims in Koran. Muslims usually say that Muhammad and his followers were attacked by pagan Arabs, and they were forced to defend themselves. So, most Muslims believe that they should not attack non-Muslims and should defend themselves if they are attacked by non-Muslims.
Of course, there are Muslim extremists and terrorists who think that they should kill all the non-Muslims. However, the majority of Muslims do not support this idea.

Islam is not completely a religion of the law. In Islam, faith (of course, Muslim faith) is very important. Muslims believe that when a person receives Islam by believing in Allah (which is actually Muslim name for the unique God) and Muhammad as his prophet, all his/her previous sins are forgiven. They believe that if a person sins, but preserves faith, he/she will temporary go to hell, but eventually will go to paradise. However, if he or she loses faith, he or she be in hell eternally. Former Muslims are treated much worse than people who have never been Muslims. They should be killed (there are some requirements for that) or at least excommunicated. Even if an ex-Muslim is not killed, no Muslim is allowed to contact him or her.

The Muslim concept of God (Allah) is strictly monotheistic. They deny Trinity as "polytheism." They believe that Muhammad was the last prophet of Allah, however, there were many other prophets before him. They consider Moses, Jesus, and some people mentioned in the Bible as God's prophets. However, they believe that their teachings were changed by people and canceled by Muhammad. They believe that some parts of the Bible came from God, but were corrupted by people. Thus, they believe that Koran substituted the Bible.

Muslims do not deny the existence of Jesus. They consider Him as a prophet and deny that He is God. They believe in His virgin birth, but deny that He was crucified. They believe that He will come back before the Day of Judgment and will defeat Antichrist.

For Muslims, it is hard to believe that Jesus is God because they consider that as "polytheism" that leads to losing salvation in Islam. Well, they have to "lose salvation" in Islam in order to gain salvation in Christianity. This is quite a serious turn. It is more difficult than for an atheist to receive Christ. An atheist does not have any "assurance of salvation." A Muslim has. In addition, for a Muslim to receive Christ means to be rejected by all the Muslims or even killed. Probably, this is why there are very few ex-Muslims who were converted into Christianity. In addition, Muslims forbid to preach the gospel to Muslims in order to avoid "temptation." They also think that a person who left Islam "tempts" others to do the same. This is why they excommunicate and kill ex-Muslims.
