From the Pit to Hollywood to the public
I went to view my Spiritual Discernment discussion board today; and up popped a screen with a video clip from the upcoming film entitled "Second Coming," where a false Jesus meets a not-so-real Adolf Hitler and they were buddy-buddy with one another.
Following is the link to the clip:
http://www.broadcaster.com/video/player.php?clip=6679
I joined the discussion group (my username is "PureInJesusChrist") that is associated with this particular movie; and it's not surprising that I'm part of the minority of people who oppose the film. The world laughs at Jesus and mocks Him, while saying that prayer means nothing and that it is OK to portray Jesus as not wanting to walk in His Father's footsteps, while portraying Him as thoroughly enjoying the fullness of the pleasures of sin, rather than living a completely sinless and pure life so that He would be able to save us from our sins.
Following is part of the discussion about that clip:

on judgment day there WILL be "HELL TO PAY" for this kind of mockery of the son of God. I pray for a opening of your eyes on the eternal condition of your souls.

Are you trying to say that this will result in judgements of some kind?

yes I am saying that this will result in swift judgment...

I suppose that the First Amendment gives you the right to make whatever videos you wish to make, no matter how blasphemous they may be. I suppose, also, that you have the right to make fun of your Creator and His provision for your redemption. But, on behalf of those of us who are called to stand up for Truth and what is morally and ethically right and accurate (according to the Bible), I must object strongly to what you intend to put in theaters soon. I hope God (YHVH) opens your spiritual eyes before you stand before Him on Judgment Day! Because, if He doesn't and you continue to produce films that mock the Son of God and what He did for you, as well as His relationship to His Father (like rainfire has said), there will be Hell to pay for this.

PureInJesusChrist, dont you think God/Jesus had a sense of humor? Do you think he would appreciate you talking for him, you dont know him, have you met Jesus/God in person?(Dreams & prayers dont count)What also makes me laugh about your comment is that you clearly take the Bible literally, as if you havent given the thought that the Bible was created for a metaphorical refrence, as though you cant think for yourself. Seriously, threating somebody with eternal damnation for making a viral video that is mocking in a humours and harmless way is not God/Jesus message. Personally, I think their is no hell, it dosent seem likely for a forgiving God to have one, and if their is one, I bet it is reserved for people that have horrible attrocites. Seriously, open your mind and stop beliving in your sterotypical "white" Jesus, he was Arab and Jewish, CONTROVERSY!!!!

I joined this just so i could comment on it WHO CARES!!!! people will make what they want when they want and nothing, not even some "sacred" text can be used to justify ones freedom of beliefs. I dont care if God/Jesus comes down here its still a right that we as humans have so those who think this is controversial YEAH it is, no you cant do anything about it so stop complaining.

Re: From the Pit to Hollywood to the public
My response:
Some day, we will each stand before God. He will ask each one of us why He should let us into heaven. Those who don't know Him will boast of their own righteousness and give that as a reason for Him to let them in, claiming that they are not as bad as people who seem much worse than they are. Those who know and love God will ackknowledge that only God DESERVES to go to heaven. They will acknowledge that, were it not for the grace of God and for the righteousness of His perfect Son imputed to them, they would be unfit for heaven. Those who know and love God will acknowledge that, in and of themselves, they are no better than anyone else. And they will say, "Lord, I don't deserve to go to heaven. I'm no better than anyone else who ever lived. I'm the chiefest of sinners. But when You invited me to accept Your gift of redemption on my behalf, telling me that I could not save myself, I accepted Your gift of redemption. Don't let me into heaven because of any works of 'righteousness' that I've performed. Let me into heaven because of what Your Son did for me and because He offered the gift of redemption and I accepted it. I accepted that gift based on faith, which in itself is a gift from You (Ephesians 2:8, 9). I don't deserve to go to heaven. But You said that I am made Your righteousness in Your Son (2 Corinthians 5:21; Philippians 3:9). Because I am clothed in Jesus' righteousness, please let me into heaven for His sake." Those who rely on Jesus' redemption for their salvation will hear the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of My kingdom." Those who depend on self-righteousness will hear Him say, "Depart from Me, you workers of iniquity, into everlasting fire" (Matthew 25). I firmly believe that, when God has to tell people to go to hell, He will be very sorely grieved, because it isn't His will for anyone to perish, but for all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). But He can't allow sin to enter His presence (Genesis 3; Exodus 19; Psalm 119:3; Philippians 1:9-11; 1 Thessalonians 3:13; 5:23; Revelation 7:15; 20:11-15; 21:8). Only God is perfect. So only God DESERVES to go to heaven. God cannot allow sin to enter the fullness of His presence. He must destroy that which is imperfect, unless the imperfect is clothed in perfection (2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Corinthians 15; Romans 8). God knows none of us is perfect; so He made a way for us to escape His wrath (1 Corinthians 10:13; 1 John 1-5; John 3:1-21). Jesus Christ was truly God incarnate--the fullness of the Godhead bodily (John 14:6-10; 17). He emptied Himself of all of God's glory, came to earth in the most humble circumstances, was tempted in every possible way, lived a perfectly sinless life, died a criminal's death, and rose again 3 days later, defeating death and sin (John 17; Matthew 1-2; Luke 1-2; Hebrews 4:15; Matthew 27:11-44; Mark 14:43--15:32; Luke 22:47--23:43; John 18:1--19:27; Matthew 28; Mark 16; Luke 24; John 20-21; 1 Corinthians 15; etc.). Jesus did all that because He knew that we could not save ourselves. God became a perfect Man to live a perfectly sinless life, die for your sins and mine, and rise again 3 days later to conquer death and sin. Knowing that we couldn't pay the price God's justice demanded, Jesus paid it for us. But it doesn't apply to those who believe they don't need salvation and won't accept what He did for them. Jesus died for you (and rose again). Will you accept His gift of salvation and live for Him? This is the day of salvation. Tomorrow may be too late (2 Corinthians 6:2).
