my rantings
Yesterday I didn't have to go to work because of the Holiday. So, here I am sitting at the pc looking for something interesting and non smutty to do on-line. I hear my front gate open and I looked out and saw 2 kids coming through that I didn't know. I could tell what they were here for by the way they were dressed. So I got up, went to the door and explained that peace on earth wouldn't be achieved through the Witness'. I left and so did they. After awhile, I and the boy took off to Wal Mart and I saw them again. Only this time they were with the mothers of the group. I find it very sad that this organization ( I refuse to call it a religion) uses and potentially abuses their children this way. They don't usually send the newbies or young'ns to my house anymore after I proved one of the newbies wrong. But still it is sad that these kids who do not believe in the diety of Jesus Christ will never see heaven. All should come to repentance and know that God is God and Jesus is His Son.

Re: my rantings
"Dondi" Indeed it is sad to see these kids abused in this way; 2 called at my house a few weeks ago. One was about 16/17 and the other was younger and in a Wheelchair!
How can any Parent make there kids do this?
I do Know I would refuse, Point Blank!
It is a sad world.
Paul

Re: my rantings
Responding to these postings this evening truly is putting on my heart that all these folks we are talking about involved in these cults need our prayers and our testimony. I tell all who read this post that my prayer list will never be the same.

Re: my rantings
Paul,
Not just in the Jehovah's Witnesses, but in any abusive group, everyone is indoctrinated to believe just what the group leader(s) want(s) them to believe. The exact doctrines differ from one group to the next; but the mind control is the same across the board. The kids' parents send them out to proselytize door-to-door because they believe that that is absolutely essential to their (the parents' and the children's) salvation. They just don't want themselves or their children to be annihilated after death. They don't believe in hell, but annihilation is just as bad (to them) as hell is to us. JW's go door-to-door out of fear for their own eternal well-being as much (or more) as they do out of concern for those they witness to. We certainly do need to pray for them. That is the only way they will ever find deliverance from the trap they are in.
