The spooks on us!!! AKA....Lemmon Oct. 30th
Wow! what a scary night! This has to go down as TR's all time gig nightmare! We had all sorts of problems..it was like we actually had a goblin with us up on stage. First we blew a breaker twice before even finishing the first song...turns out someone had turned on the horseshoe pit lights and they were on the same circuit as us. Then Kerry's guitar amp started making crackling sounds....like it was popping popcorn! He ended up playing direct through the board the rest of the night. Once that was resolved and we were in a groove....he breaks a string..then slices his finger open on it...blood everywhere! Well being the trooper he is..the show went on. Thinking it really couldn't get any worse we were into another groove and BAM!....his effects pedal goes dead....there went his distortion for the rest of the night! I can't ever recall having more problems. We were just waiting for something to go wrong with my stuff next. Well we made it through the night thanks to a very understanding crowd. The costumes were all great and I wish they all could have won something. First place went to a gorilla on a chain picking lice out of everyone's hair through the night, 2nd was a couple of gals dressed as suckers, and 3rd went to the group dressed as Toy Story. We have some time off now till the fair convention....I hope we left the goblin in Lemmon!

wow... I'm really sorry about this but...
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
I'm not glad it happened to you guys, but that is a CLASSIC moment! WOW! I think you should be proud of that, a person would almost have to TRY to have that many things go wrong in one night! WOOO!
But you know what? I'd better not laugh very hard. What goes around comes around, and we've been very fortunate so far. We have really not had anything major go wrong, but, now that I'm laughing my ass off, I'm sure that our time will be coming very soon.
And I WILL get the pictures up soon! God, I've been really busy helping Jerry at the Queen City, and last night at work with election coverage (didn't get out of here till 12:30!), and now tonight at the QC again (with the Men of Playgirl. yuck!). I know, I know, excuses, excuses. I just wanted you guys to know I'm not just sitting on my ass, and I HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN! THEY WILL BE UP!
(And I've got to find some time to show Andy how to do it, he volunteered to help. Thanks Andy!)
