 New Kettering League
It was decided on 14th June that we will start a new independant Kettering Dodge Ball League. We aim to start the new league on Wednesday 28th June 2006. Montagu School may not be available, but an alternative venue has been found. We are hoping to start the new league with 3 teams, as there were quite a few new players on 14th June who were very disappointed that the league had been cancelled.

The new Kettering DodgeBall League starts on Wednesday 28th June 2006, at 7:15 pm. The venue is the William Knibb Centre Upstairs Gymnasiun, Alfred Street, Kettering.
Weekly Match Fees are £15.00 per team and £2.50 for individual players who have not joined a team yet.

First week
The first week was a big success, despite a delay as some players had trouble finding the venue.
There were 3 teams: Hit and Run, Jammy Dodgers and Retail Assassins. A 3-team tournament was played, so there were 3 matches on the night with each team playing twice.
Hit and Run dominated their games, so the other 2 teams will need to step things up in the coming weks.

The first round of league matches took place on Wednesday 26th July 2006. Results were:
Hit and Run 7 Retail Assassins 0
Jammy Dodgers 3 Hit and Run 4
Retail Assassins 3 Jammy Dodgers 4
